Vision:
To expose children to a Bible perspective by means of Bible study. Children are taught to know that they are special in God’s eyes and that they were created in God’s image. They are taught to have Godly principles according to which they can live. Furthermore, the vision is to develop strong, positive leaders for the future and thus invest in healthier future leaders for our churches, communities and government.
Material:
This project consists of sixteen series of Bible lessons for Grade R to Grade 5 learners in Afrikaans or English. Each series consists of seven to twelve lessons and can be presented weekly. It is systematically formulated theology that is understandable to children. At the end of each lesson they find two to five questions to answer as well as a verse to memorise. Upon completion of these lesson the learners receive a certificate and at the end of Grade 6 they get a special printed Bible of their own.
How it works:
In each area there is a ministry coordinator that oversees contact with the schools/organizations, a teacher or adult team leader who administrates the process with the learners and then the group leader (a child) who leads the smaller groups and is taught valuable leadership principles as they complete the lessons within their groups.
Each group consists of seven to eight children led by their group leader under supervision of the teacher or adult team leader who is supported by the ministry coordinator.
